Hi all.
I am starting a diary to keep myself focused and on track. Also just to have someone to write down all.my thoughts and hopefully not to many rants.
I am newly single after 16 years in a domestic violent relationship. The final straw came when my ex rammed my car and wrote it off thus leaving me in debt again.
I am pretty up to date with my household bills with the exception of my water bill which is next on my list of things to sort.
I have 3 children. My youngest has recently been diagnosed with autism and currently being assessed for ADHD.
I am on top of my credit arrangements at present. However i gave up my job before xmas so that i could sort my personal matters as i was so down i knew i had to bite the bullet and get out of the relationship so i know i have to budget every penny.
I have paid of a catalogue today but unfortunately i did use a credit card to do this. However i have sent an email requesting that account to be closed so.its one creditor gone.
I have outstanding finance on my car that was wrote of and my settlement will not cover the amount outstanding so i need to get advice about this.
My mum just took out a loan so i could get another car as my son has many appointments and i have plans to get back to work. So i am paying her every month
I have one other catalogue with a fairly high balance which i will chip away at every week.
I also have a phone contract to.pay every month
I will update further but my son is playing up at the moment so i will leave it there for now

Thank you for all your posts.
I did post the other day but obviously its not sent
I have just been offered a job. The money is quite good and the hours are 9-5 which fits in lovely with the kids.
I have also just paid of my last catalogue and this account has been closed.
The only credit i have now is my phone contract and my credit card which only has a £150 limit. I am going to keep these two accounts open as i hope it will help me to.get a mortgage. I have just got the paperwork through for the right to acquire scheme but im going to wait to see how this new job goes.
I was going to redecorate the house but i might leave that a while
I feel i have too much on atm as it is and it isnt too bad anyway
Just posted some stuff on gumtree. Build the penny pot up for the school holidays.
My eldest is having problems at school again. Its getting really boring and i am fed up of it all. Its never ending. Totally draining.
I am also.sorting my credit report. I have not applied for any credit. I also.have some defaults which are about 3 years old. I.have used some advice on another website to write to.them.to ask if they would consider moving the negative. I know its a long shot but no harm in asking hey.
Also with me starting this new job i have set up a budget planner on my phone. Anythimg left over can go towards the holiday/mortgage pot.
My son is having a bad day today. He just does not stop. I am.still.learning about Auti.and he has just been diagnosed with ADHD too. Hopefully soon we can start him on some medication.
Think thats enough boringness for today.0 -
So i started my new job and i am really enjoying it.
Keeping up with my bills paying them on time and making extra payments on my rent to try and get ahead a bit as my housing benefit 4 week run on will end soon.
Finally got my carers allowance payment. Need to end the claim now though as im working.
Not heard from creditors regarding default removal.
Didnt expect to really though
Il check in again soon. Really tired so need to catch up on some sleep0 -

Ok not been on for a while. New job didn't last long. My ex made sure of that so at the moment I am unemployed. I am looking to get my LGV licence, I have had my medical and done part of my theory. As my son is till part time at school, he will be full time in September, so I am looking to get my test passed before then
So between now and September I a to get my test passed and I am currently doing up the house. I am waiting for new wallpaper to arrive for my living room and my girls bedroom and my new sofa in June. Just need a stairs carpet and I am saving to get my kitchen tiled.
I just feel that for the first time in a long time I know where am heading, even if the ex keeps rearing his ugly head. Least he has a job now so he's not in my face all the time
Cannot wait to get the house done though, it feels like I am finally making my own decisions about things.
Really cannot afford to take out any more credit now. I need to save every penny I have0 -
