Should i apply for 0% transfer credit card?

Hello All. This is my first post on MSE.
I have just received a Decision in Principle from my bank (which is great!) but I now want to apply for a 0% transfer credit card to clear my current card to help me pay this off quicker. As this will incur another credit check on my file, I was wondering if I should do this now before I get a final agreement on the mortgage or wait until I have actually got the mortgage and then do after?? As I wouldn't want anything to now have an impact on receiving the mortgage.
Sorry if it's a bit long winded but it's my first post.
Many Thanks for your time
Rich
