Furniture Village faulty Sofa

Hi, and thanks
Unfortunatly I rang, but they have denied all knowledge of me ever mentioning the problem with the chaise not sitting straight, only the problems with the leather.
Yes my phone bill will show that I rang but not what Ive said, the lady from the Furniture Ombudsman has advised I accept the repair but if thats not up to scratch I can then insist on a replacement ,full refund or keep it as it is with a partial refund.
Of course I can still go to trading standarts or small claims.
thanks for the kind words and help x0 -
Should have said they denied any knowledge until after 30 days was up0

hi just an update, to let everyone know whats happening.
I contacted Katie at the Furniture Ombusman via email on 31st Jan 17 as no contact has been made, at all, since the tech visited on 11th Jan 17, and ask her what i should do.
Katie said" I have been in contact with the retailer, and they have informed me that they have been in contact with the suppliers regarding a replacement.
The retailer has informed that there is a slight delay in response from them due to Chinese New Year closure"
I then tried to ring Furniture village, after being on hold for 30 mins i gave up, and used their contact us page
I ask what was happening and informed them that the furniture ombusman said they were looking to replace it.
the reply back was
"Yes you are correct - we are looking to replace the furniture for you.
We have sent the request over to the supplier and I believe it may take upto 7 days for their response.
We will be in touch to arrange a swap over as soon as the replacement becomes available (around 10-12 weeks)
thanks for being there for me x0
