Credit cards abroad

Options
Just to clarify from the latest mail which says:
"Barclaycard Platinum Visa has no exchange fees till 31 Aug 2018 and it doesn't charge a cash withdrawal fee or interest on overseas (not UK) withdrawals if I pay my bill IN FULL (14.9% rep APR on spending) "
Not quite right - I have checked with Barclaycard. The card which has no exchange fees until August 2018 is the separate Barclay Travel card which you'll have to apply for. With your Platinum Visa you are not charged an additional cash handling fee for non-sterling cash withdrawals or interest, but such non- sterling cash transactions will still be charged a non sterling transaction fee like any foreign transactions

Actually on my online banking for Barclaycard Platinum Visa Credit it clearly states that all non-sterling transaction fees are 0% for purchases and ATM withdrawals until 31 August 2018. I have made withdrawals and paid for things in another country and I have not been charged a single penny for these transactions.
