in short someone entered their number plate into a payment app/machine with a space ( as it appears on the number plate) UKPC invoiced for £100, they also lost at POPLA, ticket was only cancelled as a 'gesture of goodwill' after the Guardian intervened

I bet the Bozos at UKPC wouldn't have chanced court with this scam, and I don't care what anyone says it is an attempt at a scam by these chancers!
No mention of not entering spaces on the Parkmobile website:

The ticket was only cancelled as 'a gesture of goodwill' after the Guardian intervened. The Guardian commented that this shows how useless POPLA has become.
