Help to Buy

My husband and I are looking to buy our first home. We are looking at Help to Buy, firstly I was under the impression from all the publicity last year that the scheme was being rolled out to second hand homes as well as new builds? Unfortunately I can't figure no any info at all! Secondly, what have peoples experiences…

I agree and I said as much in my post. I said that I get HTB on a property worth £100,000 or so because there is a realistic hope you will pay the sum back. If I were buying north of the Watford gap I would consider HTB if it got me somewhere nicer as it is likely I can pay back the capital and staircase. This is not the case in London as you and I seem to agree upon.
