Carpeting my bedroom

Options
Hello,

I am in a rented house with beautiful floorboards throughout - but a freezing cold bedroom. My landlord is happy for me to carpet the bedroom (baby on the way, night time feeds etc, brr!) but how best to do this without creating work later on - e.g. sticky floorboards after removing the carpet...

Also, as we might only be here for a couple of years, high quality is not too important. The room is 3.25m x 3m - any idea how much I might spend?

Thank you :)

Are you getting a foam backed carpet? The carpet shops usually have rolls of thick brown paper or paper felt that they lay under the carpet.

Why don't you look into buying a large rug ? That way you could take it with you if you move. Or 2 smaller rugs for either side of the bed. B&Q might be worth a look. Good luck with the baby.
