All suppliers now cannot charge to exchange prepay to credit meters.Scottish power were the worst of the lot entrapping prepay customers by charging over £200 a meter to exchange. Why don t you rid yourself of money sucking prepay meters to credit meters where you can play the field every year on one year fixed tariff deals and come down on yearly prices at least 25% or more. Scot Power in my area on prepay electric is 14.2 p a kwh ( I pay just over 10 p/kwh on a credit meter with Robin Hood Energy ) BG are also very expensive on prepay gas and Ovo are not much cheaper. The best route is credit meters, then you are in charge of getting the best deal every year.Martin Lewis on the telly last month was imploring BG customers to switch to BGs white label cheaper brand Sainsburys Energy with their much cheaper tariffs, same company with nectar points and £40 cashback for switchingThis is a system account and does not represent a real person.
