in Credit cards
Hi,
Can anyone see there being a problem with the following idea...
Card A is coming to its 0% period end and has a balance left i want to balance transfer to card B (a different company.) This card gets closed after balance transfer is made to card B.
Card B - different company to card A, with a 0% balance transfer period and low handling fee. 0% period ends in 6 months.
Card C - New card opened, same company as card A where the original balance started. This card has a very long balance transfer 0% period and very small handling fee...can I balance transfer card B back to this card C?
Thanks,
Dave

Of course you can.0

Don't see why not. But you might have to make the balance transfer within a certain time to get the 0% rate so be careful on that.0

Yep, depending on the level of debt and the 0% period there could be some even better deals.
Halifax and Barclaycard both have 0% interest on balance transfers with no transfer fees. I think the Barclaycard one is by invite only to former customers.0
