What's a fair start price?

Hello.
We have a Peugeot 307 1.6 HDi (110) which we have owned for 4 years. The tax is due, along with insurance, breakdown cover and a service. A change in job means that all of this would have to go on a credit card which I'm loathe to do so planning to sell the car.
Got an online quote from WBAC and it was £50 with wheel damage and 1 key declared! Not sure how much the arrangement charge would be lol
The questions are how much should I start it out for on eBay & what's a realistic price to expect?
2006 307 1.6 HDi SE 110 bhp in blue
MOT until end of Dec 2017
147k with some history (serviced yearly while we've owned it)
Some damage to the faces of the alloys from a previous owner (parking next to tall kerbs at a guess?)
Normal wear and tear things for a 10 year old car
1 key
Has intermittent anti pollution fault which has been looked at by Peugeot - they gave us a big list of 'could be' things. The eloys fluid isn't being put in which is to do with the fuel cap/cable, lambda sensor faulty plus a few other things. Dealer said it could get expensive fast so I decided to just drive it until it didn't work anymore.
When the light is on it doesn't affect the car at all then after 3 or 4 journeys the light goes out (think this is something to do with ecu checking if the fault 3 more times & turning the light out if it doesn't see it anymore)
Car has been mot'd by local garage since dealer visit (diagnostics) in Nov '16. Engine management light is not a failure (even though it wasn't on at that time)
Not trying to turn anyone over on it - will list everything & let buyer make an informed decision.
Thanks for any input.

I'd say a 99p start and take the value the market sets. Realistically, it's only worth a couple of hundred quid.0

Yeah, figured as much. Frustrating because I suspect it's got a fair bit of life in it yet but it's the costs of car ownership currently rather than the car itself. Thanks for the reply anyway.0

I'd start it at 99p and give the same description you have above with lots of pics (except maybe the expensive fast comment!!)
Those engines of that time are NOTORIOUS for DPF problems. The DPF then knackers the EGR valve and all the time putting extra pressure on the turbo until it goes pop.
Also, the oil ways to the turbo arent sufficient. You have a ticking timebomb there.
I've had these before when trading - one we "got away with" a mere £800 and three months headache for the customer and us, another we were out over £3,000 getting it running "right", as it took a DPF, EGR valve, turbo and revised oilways to get it to settle down.
Personally, i'd rather !!!! on my hands and clap than take it on, but there will be some optimists out there who will bid on it.0 -

Theres no doubt life left in the engine and body, but its all the ancilliaries around it that are painful and expensive.
Not helped by the kack software Peugeot have for fault diagnosis. It basically amounts to "keep replacing bits with brand new parts until the warning lights go out".0 -
Thanks for the reply motorguy. I get what you mean about replacing parts to clear one alarm then see what's behind the next one - that was kind of the drift I got from the dealer.
To be fair to the car I read all sorts of stuff about how awful the 110bhp version is but we've put 44k on it & spent maybe £400 across the mots. Looks like the run of luck may have come to an end now though!
Cheers :beer:0 -

Yes, i'd definitely get rid now. It could take £££s to sort out or £,£££s.
They used to break my heart those engines when i was trading. We got to the point (Very quickly) where we refused to underwrite them for dealers and wouldnt take them as trade ins.
Also fitted to Fords, Citroens and Volvos too.0 -

The rock-solid 2.0HDi was in-between, though.
And ran in parallel with the 1.6 and 1.4
The introduction of the floating flywheel to the 2.0HDI did it no favours.
The 1.4HDI was reasonable but i personally avoid diesels these days as i am not doing the miles to warrant the risk of major failure.0
