Confused by PCN

I have read the stickies on this board already and the advice to newbies but there is one thing which I can't quite put my finger on.
I will give you my case specifically.
The car was parked with a valid ticket.
A windscreen notice was left by a private car park company stating I was not in a designated bay.
The ticket and PCN Were kept for about 3 months in case they were needed as evidence. This was in July last year. In the first week of January I (the registered keeper) received a postal PCN. I have read their letter carefully and they are a debt collector by the looks of things.
They have written from PCN Admin Centre (ZZPS I think it says)
My question is this, where do they stand on pursuing this when it was so long ago?
I no longer have the ticket and no other evidence collected at the time. They do not know who the driver was and have sent a NTK only.
TIA

shame you didnt keep the paperwork (should be kept for 6 years , just in case of a court claim , which rarely happens in the first 6 to 12 months anyway
ZZPS are debt collectors so you read and follow the debt collector advice (which is IGNORE)
its an LBC or an MCOL you dont ignore
in future , keep the paperwork for 6 years (google small claims court in england and wales , or MCOL to see why)
3 to 6 months is nothing in this game , 75 months is the goal
and read this please , for more info
