Hi,
I want to take my wife and two kids to DisneyWorld next year, anyone been recently? Who did you fly with, how did you get the cost down? Where did you stay? Any advice would be great.

One point, DisneyWorld is in Florida
Its not that we have more patience as we grow older, its just that we're too tired to care about all the pointless drama

Try the Orlando/Disneyworld 'sticky'

Start saving your money now - the trip is going to set you back quite a large wedge.0

Whats your budget ? We've been several times, for 2 weeks, with Disney and Universal tickets for 2 adults and 2 kids, flights, villa, car and spending money, i'd allow a minimum of £4-5k you could do it cheaper if you stay on International Drive or in a hotel. Also cheaper outside school holidays of course.0

We (2 adults and 2 children) did 3 weeks in April 2015 for £6900, and 3 weeks April 2016 for £6600. Both times we stayed off site, some time in hotels and some time in villas.
I agree the best place to start is the DIBB where you will learn all sorts of tips.
I blogged both our trips to try to share the tips I had learned and included costs wherever I could. There are lots of other trip reports on the DIBB where you can look at how other people planned /had their holidays, but this is mine if you fancy a read at what's possible:

Scarily, the pound has lost 20%(ish) since then :eek::eek: , which would make your April 2016 much more expensive to replicate.0 -
We had looked at an initial budget of £5000 but we have upped that now to £6000. We are looking as Villa's in the Kissimmee area as my wife has been previously and said how nice it was, plus its not too far from Disney.0
