Hi everyone

A question here as not to clever with investments other than putting my money in banks.
the other week we got an invite to obtain a prospectus from carnaby film productions plc.
now the prospectus came through on saturday has anyone heard anything about this company?
the prospectus came in a very nice booklet and has a lot in it to much for me to take in really.
has anyone got any advice or heard about this company and what there offering obviously any investment is a risk but i have no ideas about investing to be honest.

Which is probably enough for you to disregard this option.

These film schemes attract two types. Experienced investors knowing the risk they are taking and inexperienced investors who shouldnt go near it but have some fascination by it.

In simple terms, they are high risk.

to be honest we do not know why we were sent the invitation to ask for a prospectus as it just arrived in the post one day the invite that is to get the prospectus.
looked very high risk to me to be honest but was not sure as i said very naive when it comes to investing in things and will not be parted to easilly with my money

The usual method is they obtain names and addresses from share registers, you probably own some shares in a UK PLC.

i dont have any shares at all nor does my wife so no idea where they got us from???

I invested a few bob over the last few years with no returns. How legitimate are they and will they succeed, in your opinion eventually?
