Incorrect info removed !

Hi

I had incorrect information on my Equifax credit file, nothing serious just wrong. I contacted Equifax who in turn contacted the two companies, they were given 21 days to respond. Neither did and Equifax decided to remove the info.

So that's all fine so far, however what happens now if the companies respond at any time can the information be put back on ?

TIA

If the information was wrong, It should not be put back on unless the company's dispute that, it may not even be put back on if they did. Hard to say based on the information you have supplied
