A question out of pure interest

You buy a Hyundai on line, you keep it for say 10 days. Could you send it back,

I mean if you buy a product have you not got a certain time to send it back but if you took it out on the road then it's no longer new

You're allowed to handle and inspect the goods as you would be able to in a shop (showroom). Test drives don't count (at the showroom) as you wouldn't normally buy that vehicle, so as you say you wouldn't be able to drive the new vehicle.

Per the Consumer Rights Act, you have an unconditional right to reject within 14 days. However you may be liable for returns costs, AND the seller can deduct from the refund an amount by which the value of the goods have reduced due to your handling of them.

In essence ... good theory, but will never work in practice.

Wouldn't registering it be similar to activating a software licence?

As I said just curiosity - I can't even drive 😪, was just wondering how it work in practice 😄
