Harveys...don't go near them

Long story short...ordered a new suite from these cowboys in August, were promised delivery before Halloween but were quite happy as long as it arrived before Xmas.

After several cancelled deliveries and a host of bullsh#t excuses we cancelled on 21st December yet have still not received our refunded deposit.

Has anyone else any experience dealing with these reprobates?

I bought a sofa from Harvey's last year. It was delivered 12 weeks later, as advised. No complaints here.

I'm sorry you're having a bad experience, and I realize my post doesn't help you but I'm just giving a balanced viewpoint.

They originally told us 6 weeks, though the time schedule wasn't a selling point.

We had ours from there last year.

It was delayed for a few weeks but they knocked £300 off the price for the inconvenience.

There used to be an official Harveys' rep on these boards but he/she seems to have disappeared, which is a pity as I've had a problem with one of their chairs.

My wife has dealt with them mostly and they have been courteous enough, but the last we heard it was lost in transit and they had instigated an investigation....shopped local in the end and had one delivered within 2 days.
