Regular Poundlanders probably know that PL are a good place to go for lightbulbs, but I thought I'd set up this thread to discuss PL and other shops' good finds for LED bulbs, particularly.
I picked up some PL GU10 5w bulbs today (these are the small spotlights with the two mains voltage lugs on the bottom). They have really brightened up my kitchen, and I don't mind the slightly harsh, cold light in that particular room. They are better/brighter than either of the old bulb types (a mix of CFL and Ikea LED).
Be aware that the bulb shelves in PL can be untidy, and bulbs can end up in the wrong boxes. I would definitely check that you are getting 5w/303 Lumen bulbs, as there are some 3w GU10s there, too.
