There’s a place called Sound Mind and Body. It’s a modern gym and studio in Benton, staffed by a range of personal trainers, each of whom specialise in different areas of sport. You can visit physiotherapists, sports masseurs, hypnotherapists and beauty therapists who are knowledgeable in corporate health, weight loss, positive psychology and injury prevention and recovery. You’ll also have access to the gym’s lounge area, including a kitchen, TV and sofas, but you’ll probably be too muscly and fit to notice them by then.
We have a free membership worth £55, plus four personal training sessions (each usually costing between £10–50 per hour) to offer one Living North reader.
