NO GUARANTEE at TESCO DIRECT

Am I the Only one who didn't know This ? 
I'm happy to be told I've got it all wrong but i cant see how.

Clearly you still have your consumer rights. Bosch the maker of the item which I brought, on-line, says in its booklet your gntee is as advised by the dealer...So no gntee if you buy on line from Tesco .... But if you buy from another store Like John Lewis you get 2yrs ....Now it's not going to go wrong-right, yeh but if it does? and its not that its any cheaper from Tesco. Just easier for me to return if something goes wrong. Pardon!! what did i just say ?
it would have been further for me to go to J.L and in the wrong direction. NEXT TIME!!!!I'll be going directly some place other than T.D and I hope Tesco Direct goes some place other too.

I guess it's referring to extended warranties, not normal warranties / guarantees.0

Oh dear Tesco are referring to purchasing an extended warranty not a standard guarantee you get when you buy a product.
At least try and read what you are quoting!
What the Tesco direct website actually states -
In relation to electronics or mobile phones, please contact the relevant helpline below. If we are unable to resolve the issue over the phone, we would be pleased to offer you the following:
Within 30 days of receipt of the goods: Your choice of a repair, replacement or refund.
From 30 days after receipt of the goods until 12 months: We will arrange for a repair or replacement of the goods. If that’s not possible, we’ll offer you a refund.
After the first twelve months from receipt of the goods: You may be offered a partial refund, repair or replacement, depending on the product and usage.
For electrical items, we reserve the right to send out an engineer or technician to inspect the goods to confirm the fault before accepting the return.
