Lidl Athena Parking Fine

Options
PLEASE HELP
I am so confused with what option is best. I am a regular shopper to Lidl in Llanishen, Cardiff. On this occasion my daughter was parked in Lidl in Cathays, Cardiff. The maximum stay is 2 hours. After shopping (she threw away the receipt) and returned to her car but she went over the two hours by 3 minutes. Entry to the car park was at 12.42 and departure is 14.45. Can someone advise me whether I should answer the letter or not. She is only 19 years so fraught with worry. They have sent photos of the car but the driver is not visable from the copy they have sent. I thank you in advance x

  • if you go back to the other lidl thread , the CEO,s address is there

Lidl will print you a duplicate recept , date , approx time and names of a couple of items bought
complain to the MANAGER first , then lidl CEO if needed

lidl have a strange relationship with there main parking provider (athena?) , where they pay them to put tickets on cars , but lidl keep monies paid

    athena do not do court

they are members of the IPC and 3 mins is a joke , you may want to print this ,its from the IPC code of conduct

    15. Grace Periods
15.1 Drivers should be allowed a sufficient amount of time to park and read any signs so
they may make an informed decision as to whether or not to remain on the site.
15.2 Drivers should be allowed a sufficient amount of time to leave a site after a pre-paid or
permitted period of parking has expired.

Search the forum for 'Lidl Athena' and read about everyone else getting theirs cancelled by complaints to Lidl's CEO.

If she pays she has been mugged - not a single person here would pay Athena.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
