Do people think these will go up compared to last year or not? Please give reasons.
Comparing with last year they seem more expensive

It is probably inevitable as Sterling conversion rates are poorer now.
Major knock on factors already happened:
Fuel cost in dollars now costs much more in Sterling.
Several other things linked to dollar prices.
Euro charges such as landing fees etc similarly costing us more.

Possibly (and this is not certain!) increased cost of holidays in USA, Europe and some parts of rest of world coupled with the change in Sterling might mean fewer people going abroad and that possible expectation might have been factored in by suppliers with consequential smaller bulk buys and discounts.
However I would have thought, unless there is higher demand from other country's tourists, supply and demand might have had an impact on that!
