On comparison sites this company seams to have a good 3 year deal. Has anyone had dealings with them as says they were only set up in 2017 . I had a look at there website but could find no info about domestic supply, or where to set up account. Any info would be a help.

(no feedback yet - according to CEC, they only started supplying in 2017, as you also say - so I doubt anyone is actually with them yet)

Caveat Emptor. Look at the annual cost carefully. As it is only the 19th January, if they set up in 2017, then I doubt whether they actually have any customers.

I have just checked. I switched last month. ENgi would cost me £184 per year more than the £650 a year that I am paying at the moment. The exit fees are also staggeringly high at £63 per fuel. They are clearly not expecting a rush of new customers.

The exit fees showing on uswitch are £30 per fuel. Think I may stay clear till they are more established.

Have a look at MSE CEC. Why do you think that a 3 year fix will save you money? If electricity wholesale prices double in 2017, the increased cost will be less than 20%. Wholesale costs account for about 32% of your bill.

It is not so much the deal I was interested in as they have others as well. It was more about if any body had switched to them and how it was going.

Gas is gas, and electricity is electricity - why pay more than you need to? Even the Big 6 get customer complaints for poor service.

I think you will struggle to find a supplier with less complaints than Engie (for the reason I mentioned at the top of this thread)

I would consider paying a premium if the ts and cs made it clear that I would recompensed for poor service; for example, a failed switch. It will never happen so I go for the savings.
