Hotpoint Cooker Problem

Hi
I have a Hotpoint EW81 Halogen double oven. The problem is when I turn the dials for the hob, the numbers no longer follow the turn. I just have to estimate the settings. I can't see anything obvious to remove and fix. Was wondering if anyone had an idea how to fix the problem. Not quite sure where the manual is.

Hi Phil,
If it's one of those with the dials behind the fascia then it likely needs new indicator dials which are behind the panel. It's not a fun job to replace them usually I'm afraid.

The same thing has just happened to my cooker. I cannot see how the panel is removed. Can anyone help?0
