As above, we are moving tomorrow, should we have already had the completion statement. I'm getting excited to see exactly how much money we should have left over.
Also, in other peoples experiences, will we get the money tomorrow?

Why not pick up the phone and ask your solicitor?0

Because I was wondering if this was usual or not - didn't want to ring them and ask only for them to tell me that they normally send it after...thanks for your help0

From what I remember - yes. Contact your solicitor.0

Are you in a chain? If I remember correctly, we were sitting around in temporary accommodation with our effects in storage waiting for a phonecall from the solicitors to tell me the money had been transferred. That phonecall came at 3 o'clock in the afternoon and I was told I could pick the new keys up from the estate agents and I could pop into the solicitors to finalise paperwork a few days afterwards.
I guess the money transfer was the moment of completion?0 -
The solicitor will often send out a draft completion statement a little ahead of completion date and then the final one with the paperwork after completion.
It is not unreasonable to ask you solicitor for it but equally not a red flag that you have not already seen it.All posts are my personal opinion, not formal advice Always get proper, professional advice (particularly about anything legal!)0
