Replacement patio door handles

hi
does anyone know where i can get 2 pairs of these size patio door handles in chrome please?
i have changed all the window handles and 1 other set of patio door handles but these seem to be a lot longer than 'standard'.
the back plate end to end measures a little bit under 26cms.
the fixing hole centres are 23.5cms apart. the door was originally supplied by a company called weather shield (i believe), but i cannot find this size anywhere.
many thanks if you can give me some pointers. i did try to upload a pic but not successful. they are standard looking handles, just the sizes of the backplate and hole fixings are obviously not.

i have now found out the doors were supplied by a company in essex called 'weather sure' (i don't think they are still in business), not weathershield that i originally thought.
thank you.0 -

Having looked at the link above, I'd recommend a look at Handlestore.com where there is a technical article about how to measure and size the handle you need to buy - things like measurement between mounting screws, between operating bar and lock etc etc.0
