Bosch Exxcel Dishwasher Spray Arm problem

So I am really hoping for some help here because I'm at my wits end! We own a Bosch Exxcel countertop dishwasher which has been working just fine. However, lately the lower (and only) spray arm has started bumping onto the salt dispenser lid and therefore cannot spray water everywhere. As a result some dishes come out clean and others with food still on them as if water has not even touched them! The spray arm is not bent and seems to sit just fine in its place, the salt dispenser lid is also in place and filters are squeaky clean.
Can anyone suggest what the issue might be before I contact an engineer? I would really like to save the £100+ a repair visit would cost, if it's something really simple to fix!

Are any of the little water outlet holes in the spray arm blocked?0

No, they are not. I have meticulously cleaned everything.0

either the arm is sitting too low or the lid too high, sorry to state the obvious but thats the only 2 reasons they could be hitting.
Is the lid definitely screwed down? is there any wobble in the arm?0
