    That is probably just them not really knowing what terminology to use. Just show them proof that you have the £30k and get the ball rolling.
  • Congrats on finding somewhere and your first purchase, it's such a minefield!

    Many people only have 5% so I don't understand why EA have such a quibble with it, perhaps they are hoping for a higher offer and therefore making excuses not to take it off the market, who knows! I would just send them proof of the 10%, 26k

    I think this is very much the case since they have been stalling from the start.

    I was advised my mortgage broker today to NOT send any bank statements to the estate agents and tell them to contact my solicitor.
