Essentially they have to put you back in the position you were in before the damage took place. They are entitled to do this via a repair if it produces a acceptable result and no you can't contact their insurance company directly, you aren't their customer.
It does come across like your not really giving them an opportunity at the moment. If they repair it and it's to a poor standard then you can take it further.0 -
Thanks for help everyone, I will let them atemp to put it right. as was previously answered my contract would still be with the maintenance company not the guy doing the repairs should anything go wrong or its not to our satisfaction.0

They sound like a good company dealing with a potentially awkward company.
You don't have to accept the repair, you can have it repaired yourself and foot the bill0
