Failure to display BB PCN Advice

Hello, Hopefully I can get some advice regarding my disabled father getting a parking ticket from Parking Eye for not displaying his blue badge in a Asda Car park.
We have spoken to customer services instore and on the phone, but they said we have to contract PE.
I hope I can get some advice about the likelihood of the PCN getting cancelled if I contract PE with the relevant information(BB and bank statement).

Asda are lying.
Go and complain to a manager and/or the CEO (never customer services) telling them they are in breach of the Equality Act 2010 if they do not cancel this. We know they can do this because they employ parking lie.
The BB scheme does not apply on private land.
In parallel, read the Sticky thread for NEWBIES, then send the BPA template in blue that you will find there. Copy and paste, do not reveal who was driving. Add a comment that one of the occupants was disabled, here is a copy of the BB.
Tell your dad to find somewhere else to shop. Nobody should ever use a car park infested by parking lie and make sure everyone you know is aware of this, and also tell them to come here if they ever get a private parking ticket before they do anything about it
This assumes that neither the car park or the keeper are in Scotland or NI.
Leave negative feedback on social media about the discriminatory actions of Asda.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

you are wasting your time with the store , they know nothing and blame HEAD OFFICE !!
get HIM to fill in the ONLINE complaint and get an email back with the reference number (or do it on his behalf using his email address)
and QUOTE the Equality Act 2010 (like I did) at them (which is what is actually relevant here, not the BB or lack of displaying one). He still has his condiotion 24/7/365 with or without his BB on show
and HE insists that they (head office in LEEDS) cancel the charge AND put his VRM details on their "whitelist" for ALL asda car parks in the UK as well
how do I know this ? because they have done it all for me , except I did it to make sure I never get a ticket in their car parks !! period !! (so I didnt have a pcn but otherwise its the same thing)
and fill in the online appeal on their website , as KEEPER (not driver) and attach a scan or picture of the valid BB as well0 -
Thanks Fruitcake and Redx for your help and insight. I tried their twitter account, but they seem to be worse than hopeless. Hopefully sending them an [STRIKE]email[/STRIKE] Online Web form stating the Equality Act will do the trick.
Redx, I haven't heard about stores having a white list, do every supermarket do this?Times are hard and friends are few. :money:0 -
Write bad stuff on their Facebook page and twitter, they hate that. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0

email is no good
if you READ what I said , you go on the main asda web page and raise a concern using their CONTACT US button (or whatever its called) - I never said a word about "sending an email" !!!
this creates a "trouble ticket" which they have to respond to (a bit like a crime number for the police) , emails can be ignored or passed around and probably will be forwarded to the local store , useless !! , so please do exactly what I said, as I know how this works
I am a private individual and have no idea if "all supermarkets do this" , but I see no reason why all retailers , businesses , shops , supermarkets , hospitals , doctors surgeries blah blah cannot do this - its the modern electonic method to do this in this "digital age" and many shop workers at ASDA and BOOTS etc get their vehicles details added annually to prevent them getting pcn`s
I described what works , and I can assure you that emails and speaking to the local manager or C/S staff is useless as they dont know what the system is or how to implement it
please do as I ask and dont make it up as you go along , I have already been down this path , except I was NOT raising a pcn issue , but the possibility of one and preventing it , because PREVENTION is easier than CURE
good luck and let us know how you get on0 -

I tweeted them, and they were nice saying to send them a private message them. That was a week ago and 3 different people have private messaged me in that time, but it seemed like they don't want to do anything. I just sent them a private message with the ref that my dad sent to them and said I won't carry on the conversation. I did send a tweet to them just to be "nice".
That's why I made this thread because I wasn't getting anywhere.
Redx, when I said Email, I meant the online web form and for a ref no., isn't that the right place?Times are hard and friends are few. :money:0 -
yep, which is NOT an email , although they will email you back to acknowledge the online complaint , with a ref number (not the same as "emailing them")0

While its understandable for a small independent one man business to fall for the PPC nonsense, and in those cases the owners of the businesses are victims of the PPCs as much as the public, when it comes to big corporate entity's with various departments, HR, public relations, legal and so on there is no excuse.
a company such as ASDA should have suitable staff training in place, if a customer presents at customer service with a parking charge for a disabled bay when they, or a passenger in the vehicle has a disability that means they need to use a disabled bay ( blue badge or no blue badge), Customer service should bend over backwards to put things right, cancel the charge, appologise ( no mealy mouthed gesture of goodwill, a full apology nothing else) and offer the customer something for their trouble
But no, there's still the nothing to do with us attitude, its a shame the Store manager, and even the customer services robot cant be prosecuted.
If i was in that situation i would go back to the store tell them that this is a result of their agents actions and you expect them to cancel this there and then, as well as issue a full apology and re-assurances that this will never happen again, anything less than that then full bore at ASDA breach of Equality act, possible breach of data protection ( continued processing of data after you informed them the first time ) and so on
I would also deal with the store, why go to head office? its the store and the !!!! poor training, with the smug managers where the issues layFrom the Plain Language Commission:

IMHO almost certainly it will be cancelled by PE anyway. Do not identify the driver though, use the template and add words to it talking about 'an occupant of the car' being disabled and the appeal must be done in the same name as on the PCN (but not choosing 'driver' on the drop down menu - ONLY 'registered keeper'!).I hope I can get some advice about the likelihood of the PCN getting cancelled if I contract PE with the relevant information(BB and bank statement).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
