Hi my business needs a van, unfortunately I'm investing money into other parts of the business and also have a wedding coming up so trying to keep a tight lid on outgoings.
I currently use zipvan, a day rate of £84 is typical. Otherwise I use my car for smaller jobs.
It is very steep, I see car leasing ads for £250 a month or so, and is quite surpringly that a monthly lease is about the same as using zipvan for 3 days!
Zipvan is not viable in the long run and I chucking money down the drain.
Is there a HP/rent to own service for a 2006 vw caddy/transit connect?

Rent to own for a 10 year old van? Probably but at 20,000% interest where you pay 10x more than a brand new one.
If you can get a connect or courier for £250 a month why not simply choose that option? Assuming as you say its cheaper than your current option where it costs that for 3 days use and you need it more than 3 days.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Daily hire will always be dearer than contract hire.
If your business needs a van then your business needs a van, whether you buy a secondhand one with a loan or lease a new one (better to offset the tax with) then you need to run the numbers to see which one is commercially viable.
Good luck on the wedding, which I assume isnt connected to the business overhead and running costs.0 -
From £137 per month (+ vat) http://www.vanarama.co.uk/volkswagen-van-leasing/caddy/1-6-tdi-102ps-trendline-van-9582.htmlAlways try to be at least half the person your dog thinks you are!0
