I am now receiving a couple of these a day. Is Talk Talk the worst for scam calls?
Do other companies have the same problems?
I am considering leaving TT purely to get away from it.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Its unlikely to be the telephone line provider's fault; more likely you have made your number available on a form or questionaire or even a charity and your details are being passed around. Is it a mobile or fixed-line? For fixed line, you can get handsets that will block nuisance calls.

Unless you change your number if you leave TT, you will still get them. I went from TT to Plusnet and still get the scammers telling I have a TT line and BB.

Yes, as said, they are just guessing about your provider; rather like those who email about your Natwest account, in the hope that, if with Natwest, you assume they are genuine

So do I. I switched from Talktalk to BT and, a year later, on to Plusnet and I get these scammers calling on a regular basis.

For this reason alone I would never go back to Talktalk.
