EDF Smart Meter - anyone have one?
Now that EDF are installing smart meters in my area I've been thinking of getting one.
Been going some reading up on them and seems like there are 2 types. smets 1 and smets 2 - 2 being the newer versions.
Has anyone had edf install a smart meter recently - what models are they installing? Is there a online manual I can view to see all the functions?
Would like to gather as much info as I can before giving them the go ahead.

All the installs this year are likely to be SMETS1 meters so you might as well wait until the SMETS2 meters are actually being installed. That is likely to be 2018 as all the suppliers will want to empty their warehouses of SMETS1 meters first.
Just use the search facility in this forum as there are many, many posts about smart meters.0 -
Thanks. I'll probably hold off then until the new meters are installed.0
