  • I've been looking for this too, as I've decided to give it another go - have been doing very well at not spending much on food, but not very well at actually eating properly, so have been looking up lots of recipes and doing some planning (I've actually got three week's worth done complete with shopping lists but whether I'll stick to that or not is a different matter :o)

    This week's..

Saturday - lunch: potatoes, cabbage and bacon, tea: cheesy butternut squash bake with grilled chicken
Sunday - lunch: butternut squash soup, tea: haddock, mashed potatoes, cabbage
Monday - lunch: soup/ salad, tea: chorizo and lentil stew with cauliflower
Tuesday - lunch: lentil soup (remains of stew watered down), tea: chicken breast stuffed with garlic soft cheese, with a tomato sauce and potatoes/ rice
Wednesday - lunch: chicken, veg and noodles, tea: leeks with crispy bacon and poached egg
Thursday - lunch: soup/ salad, tea: cauliflower cheese
Friday - lunch: soup/ salad , tea: lamb with spicy aubergines

Snacks are apples, bananas, blueberries, pitta bread & soft cheese, and roast soya beans which I've just discovered - yum!

Come on over, PasturesNew - there will be plenty!:D

Actually, though, you have caught me out, because Mr P is the chef in this house :o (he's a chef in real life, too, so I tend to let him take over the kitchen at home - he likes it, I hate cooking...but love eating, so it suits us both!). He's not here at the moment, so I will ask him for the recipes when he gets home and post them - although, to be honest, I'm not sure how accurate they will be, as he tends to do that "chef-fy" thing of throwing in different things each time and not sticking to the recipe on the page...they usually turn out quite well, though...(I'm living proof of that, sadly - I got married in a size 10 wedding dress and now wear a size 20-22!!:rotfl:).

Will get back to you later today, or maybe tomorrow...

P.S. Andybez - Glad to see you're doing your bit to support the UK potato farmers!!;)
