Car 🚗 insurance auto renewal discount £10 vs £400 as a new customer elsewhere

Ah that time of year again when I get my auto renewal notification email from my current insurer... woohoo they offered me £10 discount... well done Axa..
Anyhow decided to have a look to see what it would cost elsewhere and admiral offered me a fab deal for 12 months for £350 cheaper than axa... I phoned them up to confirm and they offered me a deal for 10 months equating to £400 cheaper than axa for 10 months.
Admiral said after 10 months I would qualify for another years NCB...
Was wondering if it was worth it to go 10 months and get another years NCB and then give the insurance companies another call as oppose to paying a little bit more and getting the 12 month insurance.. Admiral told me they offered this deal to help drivers build they're NCB up..
Cheers

Save £400 get one years ncb and then have to look around for an other insurance after 10 months?
Or save £350 get one years ncb and then have a look around for an other insurance after 12 months?
Only you can decide! What does it work out monthly on each offer? The world is not ruined by the wickedness of the wicked, but by the weakness of the good. Napoleon0
