Faulty Biomass Boiler

We bought a biomass boiler 18 months ago to qualify for the government RHI scheme, the boiler has broken down several times since it has been installed, 4 times to be exact, which to me is three times too many for a brand new boiler. We paid well over GBP15k and the warranty runs out in 6 months time. I can only assume things are going to get worse and very expensive after six months. Does anyone know how and if we can label the product faulty and ask for money back or a replacement? The other issue i find is that the manufacturer blames the dealer for not servicing correctly and the dealer blames the manufacturer for not advising on product and service updates in order to service correctly, and we are stuck in the middle.
Would appreciate any assistance and advice.

I take it that it has been serviced once. What brand is it? did you pay £15K just for the boiler or for the whole install? Is it pellets or logs?
are you cleaning it regularly in accordance to the instructions?
I guess I would be looking at the sale of goods act and products fit for purpose, perhaps you need to speak to CAB and get some advice.0 -
Has the manufacturer sent out an engineer to inspect and do you have their exact notes on what hasn't been serviced correctly? Would be worth speaking to another installer/service engineer to get a second opinion on this as well. Sounds like they are in agreement that it's a servicing issue - significant if it's causing multiple break downs.
Do you have a servicing agreement with the installer? Any reason why you can't go to another engineer to get it serviced properly, or is there damage to the system as a consequence?
Surely your contract is with the installer and not the manufacture anyway - but it sounds like you need to be proactive to get things resolved within the warranty period. Any service engineer should be keeping up with latest information from the manufacturer.0
