Ladders that bolt to the floor and wall

Surely you must be able to get ladders that can be bolted directly to the floor with some kind of removable ground anchor and can be tied to anchors on the wall?

What are you using the ladder for? A one off job or regular use in the same place?
The Sky installer who fitted our satellite dish a few years ago drilled a hole in the wall brickwork about a metre above the ground, inserted a plug and screwed an eye bolt into that. He then secured his ladder to the eye bolt with rope or cable in order to hold it securely.
When he had finished he removed the eye bolt and fitted a cover on the plug. It isn't noticeable unless you look very closely and the plug is there for future use if required.0 -

Not really - saves having to have somebody at the bottom of the ladder holding it in place, the ladder can't slip back if its tied to the wall. Halves the number of people required for the job, and makes it cheaper.0

It's for small jobs but over the years would probably need to use it a fair few times, so would want something that can be reused.Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0

Thank you - I think you've just solved my question of "what on earth is that small black plastic plug on my wall outside?" - it's directly underneath the satellite dish the original owners had installed
That'll be what that is then!
2.5 years I've been wondering.0
