Hi,
just looking for some up to date advice on how to respond to a parking charge notice I received as the registered keeper of a vehicle.
ParkingEye PCN states that my car was parked at an Aldi car park in England for more than the freee stay of 1.5hrs. It includes photographic evidence of my car entering and exiting the car park.
I do not have an Aldi receipt for that day but have many other ones.
Having looked through the main MSE and various forum posts, am a little confused as to what the best approach would be nowadays.
Should I
1. ignore completely
2. appeal rejecting the PCN?
Thanks in advance.

The NEWBIES thread tells you that if the keeper lives in Scotland or NI, or the event happened in Scotland or NI, then it is safe to ignore the parking scammers. This assumes the vehicle is not leased or hired.
There is no appeals process and the keeper is not liable in Scotland, so as long as they do not know who was driving, they are stuffed.
You should however complain to CAB Scotland who are well aware of this scam and complain to the CEO of Aldi telling them to cancel or you will shop elsewhere from now on. Also leave negative feedback on the Aldi Fakebook page.
Do not reveal who was driving when you complain. The keeper was an occupant of the car on the day of the alleged event. That's all anyone needs to know.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks0 -
Whilst ignoring is still a possible option in Scotland, you should complain to ALDI with the aim of getting them to cancel their agents parking charge.
under no circumstances should you state who was driving on that day ( if you know)From the Plain Language Commission:
