Is the 'last updated' date on experian the date the file will update each month?

Is there a way to ask for it to be refreshed or updated quicker?

The experian file itself I believe updates each time you log in. The last updated date on individual accounts you can't change. It will most likely update a similar time the following month.

In exceptional circumstances you can get things changed but normally only if there is information that is incorrect rather than outdated.
