Choosing the size of hot water tank with an air source heat pump

I am currently having my house completely renovated and I have chosen to install an air source heat pump to enable me to get off fossil fuel. The 5KW air source heat pump will heat water for:
i) Hot water
ii) Underfloor heating
iii) Central heating radiators

The Joule horizontal indirect tank has its own heater in addition to the heat pump.

The house will have 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 shower room and one WC. I would like there to be plenty of hot water capacity so that if the whole family is bathing and the washing machine and dishwasher happen to be running then it doesn't become an issue. My builder normally installs 250 litre tanks for a house of this size but I wanted to gather more opinions hence my post. Should I go for 250 or upgrade to 300? Are there any downsides of going bigger such as more energy usage?
