PCP Rules - Servicing/Repairs

Hi,

My Mercedes C Class is due for a service soon and also my brake pads need changing. I have a mercedes finance PCP deal.

Do I have to use the main dealer for both or can I get a local garage to replace the pads etc??

Any assistance would be great thanks
:)

What does your PCP contract say?

Definately check your contract. I had one with Daimler Finance and there was small print saying it needed to be done at a Mercedes dealer. Neogiciate with the dealer though, they will come down!

The contract should let you use a third party garage as long as they fit genuine mercedes parts and provide vat invoice.

You're thinking about warranties. Finance contracts can stipulate dealer servicing and repairs. (AFAIK)
