Eurocar parks - latest advice

in Parking tickets, fines & parking
Thanks for reading.
Got a ticket in a Euro Car park.
When I with a private car parking firm a few years ago I simply ignored all letters, and I never heard from them again.
Reading the latest advice, ignoring them isn't recommended - is that because they are taking people to court?
Will ignoring them not work at all?
