critical error from microsoft

Just got this come up on my laptop saying credit cards, banking and personal details are sent remotely to hackers call immediatetly on08000903831 what is this please

    It's a scam ... you should not call that number.

    What you SHOULD do is use Malwarebytes Antimalware and then ADW Cleaner to check your PC for infections (and to remove them).

    I'm sure someone will be along shortly with more-detailed advice. :)

    theres a spate of these browser hijacks , often redirecting from facebook links

    Thanks everyone got rid of it now done a malwarebytes scan and nothing showed up on this so presume it ok now

    OP - dont install team viewer. You'll only get to see hundreds of errors in the event viewer whilst some malware / randsomware gets installed on your PC
