Help needed with OIL

I have a bit of a problem with oil in my car. I had some old oil which was in a container in the boot of my car. I noticed recently that the cap of the container had been knocked off. The oil has gone all over the inside of my boot and has gone onto the back seats of my car. Is there anyway that I can get the oil off my back seat?
Has anyone got any tips. As I don't want people who sit in the back seat to get oil all over them.

Thanks in advance.

Well as a tempory measure if you need to use the rear seats, stick a bin bag over them to keep clothes clean.

If the oil hasn't soaked in too much get some cat litter down (or sawdust if you're desperate), it'll soak some of it up.

To clean the remaining off the seats you'll need something that breaks the oil down. Handwipes like Wonder Wipes are good at this but unfortunatly aren't very money saving at about £4-£5 for a tub of 100

You need to suck out the oil - else it'll stay there!

Have you got a bunch of the East European guys doing car cleaning, on an old petrol station, nearby - they seem to do the best value in cheap valeting jobs!

OP said Old oil I took that to mean dirty oil.

If it really bad the best thing to do is buy a seat from a scrapyard.
