Extra Mattress Delivered

in Consumer rights
Ordered and received a new mattress last week.

Today delivery men turned up with another mattress!

Contacted the company who have arranged collection.

Made me chuckle that the chap on support said:
Many thanks for letting us know, could have been a nice little eBay earner!

I shall sleep even better tonight :)

Thought it would make a change from all the similar posts with 'Uninvited gift', Can I keep' etc

    Would it not have been easier just to refuse to accept it? Also did they not ask for a signature on delivery? If not then it does sound careless of them.

    Would have been the preferred option, however partner accepted the delivery and was unaware she could refuse.

    Decided to take the plunge and buy a decent mattress - Never felt luxury like it before!
