    My camera went missing after a job I did at my Bowls Club. I found it 6 months later in a bucket of chisels in my garage. Just saying!

    Similar - I was building a side gate and suddenly my random orbital sander had gone missing - strange as it seeemed I assumed someone had come into the garden, seen it in the "unlocked" summer house I was using as a temporary workspace and taken it - but left other tools.

    Fast forward about a year, and it turned up in the box room under a massive pile of rubbish - I still dont remember moving it there !
