Hi Guys,
I've beaten other parking firms before so just want some advice before sending off another appeal.
Basically i as registered keeper received a notice recently for allegedly overstaying in norton canes motorway services on the m6 toll
What actually happened was the driver called in at the services on the way home from work between christmas and new year, when the driver got home they realised that they had forgotten their laptop charger so decided to nip back to work to pick it up so they could work whilst off over new year.
On the second journey back from work they called in again to use the services, presumably this is when the ANPR camera took the second picture and tied the two together into one longer stay.
I'm aware of the problems with the ANPR systems and have seen the BPA document advising they are not 100% accurate and not to be relied upon so will be basing the appeal on this.
Is there anything else to include in the letter?
Cheers!

This is known as a double dip, and it has a few data projection act issues around it fit both the parking company, and whoever took on the parking companyFrom the Plain Language Commission:

Rattle Roadchef's cage.
If they drag their heels, tell them your personal details have been acquired in direct breach of the DPA by their agents, for whose actions they have joint and several liability. You will be issuing a court claim against CPP and you will be joining in Roadchef as joint defendants. The court approved damages for distress are £750.

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
