Just found this thread what great idea as I need to get better at meal planning:-
Yesterday - Roast lamb, mixed root mash, savoy cabbage and gravy
M- shepherd's pie from yesterday's roast lamb with savoy cabbage
T- Pork chop, mixed root mash probably and veg tbc
W- HM pizza- intend to try the SR Flour/Youghurt base probably a spinach, pink onion and brie topping as I have these in
Th- Chilli con carne and pitta bread (freezer dinner)
F - Coq au Vin- type chicken casserole and probably too much wine....... Plus trifle or pavlova with see what my sister fancies as cooking for her birthday dinner
Not sure about the weekend yet - son home so will see what he fancies for Saturday and my meal week starts on a Sunday. Lunches will be HM soup with stilton scones or salad someway or eggs
I notice no pasta or rice included this week but this is due to having a load of root veg to use up

    HI everyone

I don't usually do a meal plan as I don't stick to it. But I suppose it depends on what works for you, so
Monday - cheese and onion pie, kale
    Tuesday - sausage and mash.
    And that's it for now.

I'm quite proud of myself. Done a meal plan for the rest of the month. Whether it gets stuck to is another matter!

Monday - Gammon Rounds, Chips, Sweetcorn
Tuesday - Goulash, Pasta or French Bread
    Wednesday - Schnitzels, Wedges, Broccoli
Thursday - Tuna, Pasta, Mayo, Veg
Friday - Chicken Wraps with Salad
Saturday - Fish and Chip Takeaway
Sunday - Chicken Korma, Rice, Naan Bread
Mon 23 - Beans and Sausages on Toast
Tues 24 - Roast Chicken, Roasties, Carrots
    Wed 25 - Spaghetti Bolognese
Thurs 26 - Gammon, Chips, Veg
Fri 27 - Girls with their Dad
Sat 28 - Girls with their Dad
Sun 29 - Girls with their Dad
Mon 30 - Tuna, Pasta, Mayo, Sweetcorn
Tues 31 - Schnitzels, Chips, Veg

All based around the fact that I do the 5:2 diet, so girls are eating stuff I don't particularly like on those days and there are days when they need to either eat early due to Brownies or a quick dinner is needed due to swimming lessons.

What a great idea. Putting fried egg with gammon. Might see if my 6 year old fancied an egg with her gammon tonight.
