IRESA Ltd Deal

I have just initiated my dual fuel switch:money::money:l from E.ON to IRESA Ltd. I could not find this deal on MSE Energy Club. I got it through Citizen Advice website. So it is worth looking at this website as well. Also my deal is called, "IRESA Flex3 12m Fixed DD tariff". When I updated my MSE Energy Club details I could not find this so I ticked "Flex2......" I am using this forum to ask the club to update their website with the current deal available.

Iresa are shown on EnergyLynx (as one example of switching sites that pay out possible cashback when accessed via MSE link)
Scottish Power are shown as being cheaper for me
(To clarify, EnergyLynx cannot switch you to Iresa, but they are shown. EnergyLynx can switch you to SP for which cashback is available)
By default all suppliers & tariffs should be shown on all comparison sites (at least the ones accredited by Ofgem - don't use any others).
However, the rules allow for a supplier to specifically request that their details are not shown on a specific comparisson site. This is usually due to them wishing to restrict new applicants as they may not be able to cope with increased demand, but is better than simply closing applications to new applicants (which would be the next step to reduce demand). It is not just the CEC that Iresa fail to appear on, so I can only summise they have requested not to appear on certain comparison sites at this time.0 -

Iresa hasn't been on MSE CEC for the past month or so. They had a very good deal available in Nov/Dec 16 and a less good deal now. They have also had the odd week when their phones have been down. I suspect that they are working hard to cope with demand. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
EnergyLynx (which appears to be the same search engine that the CAB use) shows the current tariff on offer by Iresa as Flex4 (not Flex3 which was cheaper)
Same on the Iresa website.
It appears Flex 4 was introduced last Friday, so that may explain why SP are now being shown as the cheaper option
Presumably the OP applied to switch before Friday?
Not sure when Flex 3 was actually launched, but I know Flex 2 was still being sold as recently as November 2016.
With all the recent changes and Christmas, I guess the CEC hasn't managed to update its tariffs yet (at least those of existing customers)
Probably will catch up within the next 3-5 weeks, which is how long a switch usually takes anyway.:)
ETA: Looks like Flex 3 was launched 11-Nov-2016 (and as I say withdrawn last Friday)0 -
I just went to switch to Flex3 and now they only have Flex4
So annoyed, it was there until late yesterday and the difference for me between them was about £3 a month...
Annoyed I hesitated...
Trying to think of any way I could get Flex3 now as it was my cheapest option and no exit fees too...0 -
Flex 3 could not have been withdrawn on Fridfay as I got my deal yesterday (Saturday)0

You are probably correct. My information came from that CAB comparison site you mentioned in your OP
i.e. In regards to Flex4Tariff Launch: 13th January 2017
Definitely only Flex 4 available from the Iresa website today0 -
The new iresa flex 4 is now costing me £728 ayear,
That's an increase of £35 on there old flex 3 that has just now dissappeard,
They are still the cheapest compared with my Eon.0 -

So glad I took the decision to switch a little early to Iresa's Flex3 on Friday knowing that Iresa do nothing until day 15 of the switching process and by then I will be well inside EON's switching window.
I think the increase in Flex4 prices is probably a well timed attempt to slow the numbers switching to them from EON's ludicrous price increases.0
