Hi
I have upgraded to Windows 10 when the free upgrade came out. My PC is old but works ok albeit a bit slow.
I was reading an article, and it said, that if you have a 64bit chip you should be running the 64bit version of windows 10. Now I have checked and this is what is says in the about section on windows 10:
Windows 10 Home
AMD Athlon(tm) 64x2
Dual Core Processor 4200+ 2.20GHz
Ram 4GB (3.25GB Useable)
32 bit operating system
x64-bit based processor.
So my question is:
Should I re-install windows 10 and select the 64 bit of the operating system to install.
If so, will this speed up my PC? As windows 10 in activated will there be any issues downloading windows 10 again?
Thanks in advance.

With only 4GB of RAM there is unlikely to be any benefit in installing 64bit Windows.
On first scan this article seems to cover your question...
