Amex £10 cashback on £2.25 insurance policy

I noticed that Amex are offering £10 cashback on gadget insurance. To get this, you need to save the offer to your card and take out one of their policies. You need to keep it for 14 days (so you don't get a refund) and cancel it before the end of the month when it renews. You need to pay with the Amex.

The policy can be cancelled without notice so you'll pocket the difference between the first month's insurance premium and £10. I insured my camera (the cheapest gadget I have) for £2.25 so I'll pocket £7.75.

If you have an Avios card, I believe you'll earn 500 Avios if you keep it for 3 months.

It's a small amount of money but it's a little victory nonetheless. I believe it can be cancelled by email so it should be easy to do.
